Woody's is a sports bar that serves great food, great drinks and just all round good vibes. Operated by Kent Union, the University of Kent students' union, Woody's supports students with employment and extra-curricular opportunities by feeding profits back into student services.

We're open Monday - Sunday from 12:00 - 00:00. That might change depending on special events, so be sure to check our socials for the most up to date opening times.
Woody's is open to everyone! Whether you're a student, university staff, campus visitor or Canterbury local, all are welcome.
Woody's operates a 'Challenge 25' policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over when you buy alcohol. We accept government approved forms of ID. Woody's welcomes people of all ages, but politely asks no children under the age of 18 after 8pm.

Woody's does not generally take reservations, unless it's for a particular event, e.g., Sunday brunch or Christmas dinner. If you have special requirements, or would like to talk about private hire or hosting a social, please contact us directly.
There are some special events where we offer a takeaway service, e.g., Varsity. We don't currently provide delivery, but are working to add this service to our offering.
